Acceptance of terms
By using this website or engaging My Trusted Builder Ltd (trading as Wandsworth Loft Conversions) for building work, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mytrustedbuilder.co.uk of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

4. Subscriptions and Payment
If the Service includes paid plans:
- Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy
5. Quotations
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. A quote covers the scope described in it; work outside that scope — including anything discovered once existing structure is opened up — will be agreed with you separately before proceeding.
6. Approvals and permissions
Where planning permission, building regulations approval or a party wall agreement is required, we will advise you of this, but it remains your responsibility as the property owner to ensure the necessary consents are in place before or during the relevant stage of work, unless we've specifically agreed to obtain these on your behalf as part of the project scope.
7. Payment terms
Payment terms (deposit, staged payments, final balance) will be set out in your written quote or contract. Materials or bespoke items may require payment in advance.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content) are and will remain the exclusive property of My Trusted Builder Ltd and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant My Trusted Builder Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, My Trusted Builder Ltd SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold My Trusted Builder Ltd harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Guarantee
Completed work is covered by a workmanship guarantee as described on our About Us page. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by factors outside our work, misuse, or lack of routine maintenance.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
